I have a spot near Portland to fish for Steelhead all year long. Any vet that wants to get into a river real quick, this is the place to jump in. Experienced friendly fishermen in waders wonder around this area of wilderness in the city hunting for fish fresh into the river.

I have recently medically retired and moved to portland. My wife and 3 kids are very interested in fishing opportunities. I was an advid salmon, trout, steelehead fisherman about 10yrs ago in upstate NY. I have been bass fishing for the last 10yrs. I need to get the dust off learn the basics, i.e. gear, spots, tactics all over again. Any information or opportunities would be great.
