I want to tell the world about a program that has been going on in Sitka, Alaska for a couple of years now. It is called "In Harm's Way". They have been doing a wonderful job taking care of our Nations Military and being the most modest people that you could know. They own their own charter business and lodge and brave the rough fisheries of the Alaskan waters. Often harrassed by commercial fisherman, like the rest of the Charter Captains, they make their living fishing. Every year they take out two different groups of soldiers with 20 in each group. Patriotic individuals or companies often sponsor the airfare for the soldiers, or even donate their unused "SkyMiles" that they have accumulated to get soldiers from all over the country to this one place in Alaska. The Captains that offer their boats and the people that support this program are top notch. After having talked with Mike and Linda on the phone from Texas, we came to the conclusion that together we could make a bigger impact on the lives of the soldiers that they take fishing. I can feel the passion that they have for what they do and I assured them that it is okay to share their story of how they help soldiers go fishing. They wanted to make sure that someone didn't take it that they were using what they do for the Soldiers to gain business.
I would think that someone would like to place their business with some God fearing, Red Blooded Americans that support our Soldiers.
