HELP SPONSOR A SOLDIER IN 2011

Take a Soldier Fishing is a public charity that provides active Military personnel and their families an opportunity to spend a weekend in the great outdoors free of charge. We focus on Soldiers suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Most of our Soldiers come from nearby Fort Polk and Fort Hood. We use local volunteer anglers to take these heros fishing and provide many other fun outdoor activities for them and their families.

This year's Sam Rayburn event schedule includes:

February 18th - 20th Single Soldiers Open Weekend

June 3rd - 5th Soldiers Family Weekend

September 23rd - 25th Soldiers Family Weekend

November 18th - 20th Single Family Thanksgiving Weekend
